A Daily Dose of Vitamin See (and Where to Get More)

Vitamin See: The Creative Nutrient You Didn’t Know You Needed

Dear Reader,

Yesterday, my morning walk took longer than usual—not because I was going farther, but because I was seeing more.

The early light was especially beautiful, casting long shadows and golden glows on the simplest things: a weathered fence post, dew on the grass, the edges of leaves. I kept pausing, letting my eyes linger. Letting myself notice.

That’s when I realized—I was taking my daily dose of Vitamin See.

This isn’t a pill or a supplement. It’s the practice of truly observing the world around you. As artists, it’s where everything begins. When I tune into this kind of mindful seeing, I ask myself:
“If I were to paint this, how would I do it?”
And just like that, I’m connected—to the moment, to my creativity, and to myself.

If you're longing for more of that connection, I have several upcoming classes and retreats designed to help you slow down, observe, and really see.
