Women Artists of the West 55th National Juried Exhibition 📍 Customs House Museum & Cultural Center – Clarksville, Tennessee I’m also honored to have three of my paintings included in the Women Artists of the West 55th National Juried Exhibition. WAOW is the oldest juried women’s art organization in the United States, featuring a highly selected group of artists dedicated to their craft. This exhibition highlights the talent and dedication of women artists from across the Western Hemisphere, offering a beautiful and diverse collection of artwork. Each of these paintings are poured watercolors, mounted on a panel and varnished. I then had them custom framed by a very talented friend. I absolutely love that the frames make the paintings really stand out more. To view the other entries, please click here I would love for you to visit one of these exhibitions if you’re in the area. Color Studies in Watercolor: Green To continue with the theme of florals while exploring different colors, this month's online mini course will be painting a Green Goddess Lily. If you don't know what a Green Goddess Lily is, then let me enlighten you. These lilies are Calla Lilies with a beautiful green tip. These can range from a slight green at the tip to green throughout the flower. Below is the image that we will be painting in this course while we discuss the many ways to create and paint with green. This course will be held over Zoom, Tuesday, February 18, 4-6:30 pm PST The cost is only $25 US It will be recorded (in case you can not make the live session) and you will have lifetime access to the course.
